You need this Manthorpe loft hatch – it has a unique three-point sliding mechanism and hinge system that allows you to hinge the door down or remove it for unrestricted access to the loft. The lightly textured white finish on the door can be easily cleaned with a solvent-free damp cloth too. The loft access door frame comes with fixings and can be fixed directly into the ceiling for quick and easy installation. There are draught seals located around the frame perimeter to provide sealing between the ceiling and the frame, as well as the door and the frame. This reduces air leakage and prevents moist air from entering the loft space. The door frame also comes with 50 mm of expanded polystyrene insulation.
