The Makita DCS552Z Metal saw is powered by 18V Li-ion LXT slide Type battery (battery and charger not included) to deliver up to 3600 rpm. The metal saw has a heavy gauge precision machined base for smooth accurate cutting flat motor housing end and a conveniently located shaft and lock for easy blade replacement. Features a built in dust collection system and easy disposal system where metal chips and dust can be thrown away by opening the cap of the dust box. The DCS552Z has a lock off lever to prevent accidental start-ups and a large cutting capacity of up to 50.5mm at 90°.
