Hallstone Compost is a natural 100 % peat-free multi-purpose compost suitable for use in containers pots and baskets or beds and borders. It can also be used as a mulch or soil improver as it will add fertility and improve the topsoil structure. Increases soil fertility. Helps sandy and chalky soils to retain moisture and nutrients. Assists with drainage and workability of heavy clay soils. Easy to work with thanks to its light friable texture. 100% peat free. Screened to minimise stone content. Produced according to BSI PAS100:2018 requirements. Suitable for application at any time. Note: digging/forking wet soil can damage the soil structure. Can be used as a mulch. Not recommended for use as a seed compost. Coverage: 1 bulk bag = 12m² at an average depth of 50mm. Standard Bulk Bag: 85cm x 85cm x 85cm (approx. 600 litres when packed).
